Classic Hemp CBD Oil Ingredients: CBD Rich Hemp Extract in Organic Hemp Seed Oil

A cannabis oil of extracted industrial hemp that is abundant in naturally occurring cannabinoids, terpenes, vitamins, omega fatty acids, trace minerals and other beneficial components, emulsified in organic hemp seed oil.

1) Full Spectrum Hemp Extract

Because the extraction used to make our CBD oils yields a full spectrum extract, our hemp extracts contain over 80 different phyto-cannabinoids, including CBC, CBG, CBG-A, CBC-A, CBN and many others (and yes, our Hemp Classic product happens to naturally contain high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) because it’s made from a full spectrum hemp extract). In addition to the cannabinoids naturally present in our industrial hemp extracts, there are also many other types of natural molecules such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D), fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium), beta-carotene, chlorophyll, flavonoids, ketones, nitrogenous compounds, alkanes, glycosides, pigments, water, and terpenes. The most common terpenes in our hemp cannabis oil are Myrcene, Beta-caryophyllene, Terpinolene, Linalool, alpha-Pinene, beta-Pinene, Nerolidol og Phytol, trans-alpha-Bergamotene, Limonene/ beta-Phellandrene (Co-elution), and alpha-Humulene.

We’ve systematically sought out the most beautiful and healthy hemp cultivars for our raw ingredients used in manufacturing, and we always test for purity and potency. Hemp, because of its innate ability to thrive easily, doesn’t require pesticides (the aromatic terpene compounds in hemp can actually act as natural pesticides), fertilizers, or herbicides in its cultivation, and requires much less water than standard commercial farming. The hemp we use is grown under the same methods and standards of organic farming.

To determine the purity and potency of every batch of Hemp cannabis oil each individual extraction is analyzed through a High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system, a Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) system, and other methods to test for aerobic organisms, yeast, fungus, E. coli, pesticides, heavy toxic metals, cannabinoid potency, and terpenes.

2) Organic Virgin Hemp Seed Oil

Hemp oil cold pressed from hemp seeds grown in Canada. This hemp oil is also from an industrial hemp variety of Cannabis sativa which doesn’t require herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. Hemp oil is considered to be very nutritious with an ideal profile of omega 3 and 6, but the main purpose for it being in our blend is to have a base oil to emulsify the hemp extract into.

*We understand all the craze about cannabidiol (CBD) and CBD oil, but when investigating/using Hemp Classic, keep in mind that CBD is not the only constituent as it’s a full-spectrum hemp cannabis oil. It certainly has CBD, as most industrial hemp is naturally abundant in this, but it also contains other naturally occurring cannabinoids from agricultural hemp including CBG, CBN, CBC, CBD, CBG-A, CBC-A, and dozens of others, as well as other nutritional constituents such as terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, fatty acids, trace minerals, and proteins. CBD oil may contain only isolated/synthetic CBD in a base oil, but Hemp Classic contains over 80 naturally occurring cannabinoids and hundreds of other constituents, which not all CBD oil has.

Standard Use & Typical Serving Size

Best kept refrigerated (can be left out of the fridge, too). Most people swallow 15 drops or more, as desired. The amount of Hemp Classic that people take on a daily basis can vary greatly. It can be taken day or night, preferably after a meal.

Like many natural supplements derived from plants, the taste may be strong and bitter. Some people like the flavor, some don’t. Mix with a smoothie, applesauce, etc. to smooth it out, or try our hemp extract capsules.

What is CBD oil?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring constituent of industrial hemp/cannabis. Its formula is C21H30O2 and it has a molecular mass of 314.4636. Cannabidiol is the most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, commonly consumed to support overall health and wellness. (The word ‘cannabis’ is the scientific genus name for both industrial hemp and marijuana; there are genetic and legal differences between the two, and we only use agricultural hemp in our products.)

‘CBD oil’ is a cannabis oil that has significant amounts of cannabidiol (CBD) contained within it. We prefer using the phrase Hemp Extract because we feel it more appropriately describes our products which contain hundreds of active constituents besides cannabidiol.

Some companies are now isolating CBD and emulsifying that into hemp seed oil or some other carrier oil like coconut or olive oil, and technically it makes sense when they call it CBD oil. But, this means that there are no other cannabinoids or terpenes in those products, and they are extremely lacking compared to full-spectrum extracts like ours.
